The needle really only affects 1/4 to 2/3 throttle. Choice of needle depends to a point upon how your driver feeds in the power.The K98 is a little fatter and leaner and perhaps gives a crisper response-whereas the K27 is richer.We did have a proplem of 'popping' out of the corners at Rowrah but was OK on full(resticted) throttle so rather than change the jet I put in a K27 needle which solved the problem.Most of the time we use the K98
