Ian, we both have our opinions but the second hand kit was half the cost of a second hand mini max kit, and we can still use the same tyres, which as you know, the Dunlops run a few races before becoming practice sets, so for an independent racer not in a team a few more practices and races a month. I wish you and son great racing and maybe see you in JTKM in 18 months or mini's, which we can then discuss which route to take. (should add that I have hijacked my husbands account, which people who know us, will not be surprised!)
