@ John,

The company had done 130 ish of these barrels for customers. So it had been going on longer than 1 week. And it has been said that it was going on for around 2 years.

Anyway the seal model kinda works but not well. So maybe in the big championships where everybody is spending tens of thousands on engines, i reckon the top 5 engines in each class should go back to Rotax uk, Comer uk, etc etc to be measured and then this problem will never happen again in future.
