Sticking with the w60 would be the EASY option not nessaserily the correct one, I feel that most people don't won't to change because they have invested heavely it their kit we all have.... Their will never be a right time to change as you will always have this senario.
Reading the MSA's tender and the replacement criteria for the first time made me laugh as what they were asking for was another WTP B5!!?
Last year the MSA introduced the super cadet class to the sound of one hand clapping, too many engines to choose from it was born to fail good idea none the less but badly put into prosess. Which leaves the MSA with a golden oppertunity for both classes adopt ONE engine which could be used in both classes. After 20 odd years of the comer is'nt it time for a change? Or is it a case of it's time for a change when me and my lad have finished in cadets? The sport as to be forward thinking not burry it's head in the sand. I've been following karting for 4 years and we have been competeing for 9 months I have never known as many cadets in this time at club level but I do hear that it's fallen in the nationals?, also I have seen the demise of the WTP and the rise of the Honda.
Time to bite the bullet?
