I don't see that anyone has said that you have no place in motorsport if you can not afford an extra £48.00. It may however prevent you from certain sections of motorsport. On the 2 stroke forum ther is a lad, Alex McCaul, who asks questions about karting. He sounds really keen to race but can not afford even to do some arrive and drive races let alone owner driver at national level. I have never met Alex but it is possible that he has great natural talent and could be the next great UK F1 driver if someone would back him with a few million - but we will never know! At the end of the day S1 and other series have to attract customers - if the majority do not want TV coverage then they should make their views clear. cameras were introduced to try and improve the `catch' rate for on track incidents - something that most of us have complained about. I don't know how successful they have been but the customers could get them removed if they feel it is a wasted cost. Data Loggers help to stop the people who were cheating with dodgy clutches. What would it cost to do a similar checks with additional scrutineers.
