For once I 100% completely agree with Ian, it is fully the overtaking drivers job to overtake safely, it has nothing to do with the slower driver. This cr*p about 10% is ridiculous as well, I've been out on the Silverstone GP circuit in a Formula Ford, with a 1994 Benetton F1 car out with us, now THAT was a closing speed.

It's all part of this stupid philosophy in karting these days that you have to drive aggressively, even on test days. We went testing our old 100cc a while ago and as I came up behind a Jnr Rotax in one of the sessions, the kid started to block me! That just about sums up modern karting in my opinion, and is shown when they all graduate to Junior Ginettas where the driving standards are borderline lethal!
