Hi,
There is a lifting effect i.e. bouyancy which is equal to the weight of the fluid ( air) displaced. Of course this is miniscule and would not affect the handling of the kart. Also using helium, the molecule is so small that it would leak through the tyre walls and lose pressure. the problem with air containing water vapour is that as the "air" heats up the molecules of "clumped" water would separate which gives the enhanced (extra to boyle's Law) increased pressure. "Dry" gases e.g. nitrogen only increase pressure by the combined gas law equation which is "not very much"
