"As Traxtar as said test it and then you will know the answer!"

I have done. It has had a difference.

Traxtar claims to have tested it, claims it doesn't make any difference to him.

I seem to remember instructions for measuring a kart for square and true (by QOT?) involved releasing all the torsion bars, the seat bolts, removing seat stays, side pods, bumper etc and doing the measurements, then seeing how those measurements changed as you tightened everything back up.

If you have ever observed bracing wires in action in aircraft, you would not doubt that they can have an effect. In fact you don't even have to look at an aircraft, look at the number of tents in the paddock that use bracing wires (guy ropes) to provide stability under stress. If a floor tray becomes locked rigidly, it can be seen as a system of tension wires connecting the chassis tubes together.

If tension wires can stop your space frame tent structure from reacting in one way under the stresses of an outside force, why would one find it odd that tension wires would affect the behaviour of the spaceframe of a kart chassis under the forces acting on it.

This is why I advised making sure that the floor tray was completely free, having seen floortrays where the bolts were screwed through the trays and tensioned the tray between the lugs.
