I'm looking at getting a new helmet which I will probably have painted. An I right in thinking that Snell 2005 helmets are valid until 2015 and snell 2010 helmets until 2020?

If I am considering spending a few hundred quid having it painted I'm thinking I'd be better to go with a snell 2010 helmet.

Are the 2010 helmets much safer/lighter etc?

The only snell 2010 I know of at the moment is the arai sk6. What other snell 2010 helmets would you reccomend?
