I tried to make sure that the box was going to be transported flat with the chassis laid in it right way up. The boxs always have arrows on them indicating which way up the box goes and with the usual handle with care logos on it.

The problem is that the trogs who work in the distribution warehouse don't agree with me that such an expensive piece of kit needs to be transported and handled in the way the customer has paid for and I reckon any markings on the box is like a red rag to a bull for these muppets.

My advice to you is to go overboard and then some to reinforce the box inside with extra layers of cardboard and protect the kart with tons of bubble wrap because it is clingy and bouncy unlike water bottles which will move about and expose the bits you want to protect. Don't bother with a pallet as I guarantee you if it gets as far as the airplane it will be removed because of being dead weight and taking up space.

Now I encourage customers to collect their karts or I will deliver them myself because I just do not trust the big brand carriers with such a big box.
