how old was the caravan ? as most from about 98/99 as standard have a ID. chip located in the bodywork, Random place on every one, the police use a scanner like the chip on a dog or a cat...
they tend to turn up to random events camp sites in the area it was stolen, if you have the details inform insurance company (if insured) and the police of the ref. code it goes on to the nat. database and logged as stolen, my mate was lucky he got his back this way good luck recovering yours.
