"You don't really GET the idea of 'proof'.... do you?"

Sure, I get the idea of proof. Running a kart without seat stays and then with an identical setup putting them on and gaining 6 tenths is sure-fire proof to me.

Ok, I admit, the difference isn't always that big, but it ALWAYS makes a difference and I offered Traxtar an all expenses paid trip to 'prove'that difference to him.

As before, all I'm trying to do is tell newcomers not to believe everything they read. Find out if they work or not for yourself with the stopwatch. In my experience, not everything in karting makes logical sense. You can't pretend to know how seat stays, axle grades and seat grades will affect the kart's handling just by running its logic by in your head. It might not make perfect sense, but its worth trying.

Yourself, QOT and Traxtar are classic examples of 'know-alls' Open your eyes and always be willing to learn! You should never say that your experience means you can't learn any more. But then again I guess name-dropping of various has-beens makes you far more qualified than the rest of us.
