Looking for a generator to power a 2 hp compressor and some further lighting, possible fridge and microwave.

What are your recommendations preferably the small the better.

I have also noticed quite a few vans have power sockets which then feed all the van with power. How difficult are these socket to fit and how do you protect the body work from corrosion I assume you will need to cut a hole in one of the panels?
