I have done both, both very enjoyable.
euromax €1225 entry inc tyres (Ł1080)
S1 Ł160 entry + set of race slicks Ł140 + Friday testing Ł50 avg = Ł350
Not sure how a euromax round is cheaper? ok so you do the clubby before, entry Ł55 + slicks Ł140 + testing Staurday Ł50 = Ł245
both involve 5 days on track and the associated costs.
It is easy to find fault with anything, in my experience S1 do their best to provide a level playing field , and are constantly looking to improve the series. I have never been spoken to badly, and as the Clerk of the Course and Chief Scrutineer are the same i am not sure how it would be different?
