Hey mate. Sorry to hear ur bad news. I have had really bad issues with my ribs alately. Im 26 years old and it took mine ten weeks to heel fully. It takes longer the older you get. So after ten weeks i got back in my kart and still my ribs were sore still on one side. Ive tried lots of different rib protectors and found my solution last month. I bought an asw carbon fibre rib protector and it has worked a treat. Seriously good bit of kit. My mate has also had the same problem and uses the same solution. As for ur ribs at the minute like other people have said use ice pack and hot water bottle in ten minute intervals also use ibropufen.
