Road Rat makes a very valid point. It comes down to fairness and getting rid of cheque book racing. If top teams are also sealing agents then they can be lifting the head and doing what they like. Even if their engines are within the rules it's hardly fair on other competitors who don't have a tuner on tap every 5 minutes to do this.

I remember in the old days the scrutineers used to spray your head, barrel and crank cases with paint to stop parts being interchanged.

Is it time for scutineers to seal the seal at each meet?
