Sounds more like power valve to me. i.e the valve tension being to soft! sometimes at mid speed corners when you lift off then back on the valve is to soft so the spring doesn't push the valve blade back into the engine fully causing a delay in power. also on slow speed corners if the valve is to soft it will open to early and therefore bog. Trying winding the valve cover in.
