best kind of drill etc to use as a starter?

hi all gettin to old to do all the pushing about in my tkm extreme but a couple of people have told me to fire it up on the stand with a drill ? i know your only supposed to do this for under a minute but whats the best type of cordless drill to use ? 12v , 18v just a normal cordles or impact driver etc . has anybody tried this all help appreciated
