Hi, we don't do Stars but have taken our son out of school a few days over this season and I have found that making personal contact with the school is best. I always phone them and offer to meet with them to discuss it if required. Clearly your lad / lass always have to do any catch up work in a timely manner to ensure a favourable response next time. This has worked very well for us. Cheers
