Newshound you are completely way off with this one. The chassis are a pile of crap and do break, it is a farce at Whilton when everyone with a Storm has to go over them after every heat to check for cracks that need welding. I even spent a couple of hundred quid on a mig welder so that I could take it to meetings with us. We had ours break during the second month and still haven't had any satisfaction from either Spellfame who were the agents or JKH who were going to call me several times after requests from Spellfame about the problem but guess what, I'm still waiting. We have now had to scrap the chassis as it is no longer usable. It has cracked/broken in 5 seperate places, the last time the rear off side corner snapped completely off. To put this into context we have previously had 3 chassis from brand new and never had a crack in any of them, even after a couple of heavy crashes all used until they were worn out. So please don't say that the Storms break because of abuse because that is utter crap, just like the Chassis. I shall be taking mine to Manly farm in the new year probably in a bucket and see what Mr Hoyle has to say and shall let this forum know.
