The 2010 Blue book just states that from 01.01.2011 all cadets must wear the CMR2007/CMS2007 helmet and that from 01.01.2013 all National Kart Drivers under 15 will havr to wear one. For International Events then all under 15s have to wear the CMR now.

At some point there may have been discussions about an `under 12' rule but this has not been published by the MSA and is a misconception. A cadet who is 13 in 2011 will still have to wear the CMR helmet although from LewisG's post it seems that for Super Cadets it will not be mandatory - regardless of their age.
