HI i was wondering if someone can clear up a few things regarding level 2 suits, as im thinking(hoping to start)karting soon and looking to buy some gear.

Looking possibly at entry level suits or even second hand suit to start with and i have the following questions

Can a suit go 'out of date' and not be allowed to be used after certain times in MSA racing as i noticed there are dates printed on the collar?

Is this date the year made?

can/should shops sell me with certain amount of time left on the suit?

Any additional info on this welcome as dont want to waist my money
