Yes understand all that but say for example Clay,
The exits / run off are not that different in either direction, if you take the chicane there would be more run off entering from the other way, as say the entry into the bottom fast corner, entering from the other way the speeds would be a lot less,
As for corner entrys / braking zones etc, it would just be another type of corner to learn.
Overseas I have raced on circuits that go both ways, maybe the rules are different? but it caused no problems and run off's etc were very limited by barriers etc.
As for costs, yes thats a sticky point, would the drivers be willing to pay say an extra tenner per meet, then when the pot has enough the changes are made? For me it would be cheaper to pay 10 per meet extra then travel another 100 miles to different tracks.
As you say, would be easyier to sort when cicuit design was taking place.
Just thought it could be an interesting subject to discuss
