Qualifying can work, because without it you get the so called 'slow' drivers at the front who don't know how to start properly and so the whole grid gets loaded up and this results in carnage at the first corner. However, having mixed grids is better because this is what we pay to do and that is race and it gets boring if the if the drivers at the front just clear off. It gives everyone an opportunity :)
