I have spoke with many people over the course of the past two weeks regarding letters recieved from a certain trader, looking for business and approaching drivers. Can anybody suggest a legal way of this business getting hold of my own and other peoples details, before I take the advice on the matter? It would not be difficult for anybody with access to peoples personal details to pass these on, but surely the Data Protection Act is there for a reason?
