I'm a 14 y.o junior, just started a few months ago after years of arrives and drives. Family couldn't fund it so I did a few sums. Luckily I've never spent a penny of anything I've ever earnt, all went into the bank. Used a lot of that money to buy myself a junior blue and all the kit to get started.

Obviously.. that money won't last forever. I do art commissions for a few people, that covers the costs a little, but I'd have to get a weekend job or something otherise I'd have to stop. Damn money.

I'm limited to 1 or 2 practices a month at the moment, (I have an arks licence but won't be using it until next year), which isn't as much as I'd like, but it's still good fun. I'd like to think that I could get sponsorship but the chances of that are pretty much zero. For now I just hang on and hope for the best :D
