Nat B licence holders of licences during 2007, 2008 or 2009 can just renew, older they have to re-do the ARKS test. That will advance by a year for 2011 licences.
Nat A licence holders can renew for licence held in previous 5 years, after that have to take the ARKS Written test then can get Nat A back again
