The rule states that the licence application (for an under 18 driver) must be signed by a parent or legal guardian who will be the "Competitor's Guarantor" and that person must hold an Entrants Licence. On that basis you could be the Entrant for all your drivers and sign them on. If anyone else signs them on then they will need an Entrant Licence plus a written authority from you as their Guarantor. Having said that, I believe that even now the person signing the entry form for a race should also sign the driver on but is at least classed as the `entrant' for the event so apart frompaying for a licence, maybe it will not be much different. The magazine does say that this has been introduced in Southern Ireland and had a positive impact so maybe it will be beneficial.
