From the Autumn 2010 motorsports now
14.1.5. For competitors under the age of 18 years
(a) A Competition Licence Application form must be countersigned by a parent or legal guardian who, for the purposes of these regulations will be the "competitors Guarantor"
(b) The Competitors Guarantor must hold an Entrants Licence
So what extra costs are going to be involved for people with under 18's at a time when licence holders are declining.
Maybe someone on here can explain the advangtages of this rather than having to sign the race entry form as a parent or guardian, and having responsibility over minors as we have been doing. Apart from increasing the costs of karting even further
