In the section of the Gold Book where it lists all homologated chassis I can not see your chassis listed even in the 2001 section so it could be from the 1998 and out of date.
The 2001 homologated chassis will not be race legal next year so you need to find one from the 2004 or 2007 homologation rounds. Bear in mind that a chassis could be a 2006 model but if it was a 2004 homologation then that is the date that fixes the life span - not date manufactured.
If you lad is already getting too big for cadets why not look at going into minimax or junior tkm/blue?
If you decide to do a year in cadets then a chassis from the 2007 homologation should have a better resale value than one from the 2004 simply because of the longer potential use.
