RPT systems rev counter replacement battery

anyone have an idea of where to get replacement battery for my RPT system digital rev counter? (model is freeline RPT 01C2
the battery looks like a standard /cr2032 but it has two tags spot welded to the battery then soldered into the circuit board, soldering the tags into the board is no problem but how do i go about spot welding the tags to the battery, we do have a small spot welder at work but i don't think a battery would survive being spot welded

any ideas?
