So long as you are both happy to go out for the Saturday practice and not race then you will be able to go to Shenington and rissington plus Whilton on a Wefnesday (Whilton restrict Saturday practice on race weekends to thoses racing on the Sunday).
For practice you will be able to use an old kart with S60 engine and tillotson kart (or honda). As we are just abput at the end of the season this could well keep your lad happy and then look for a newer package in the new year. Just bear in mind that if you buy something that can not be raced then your resale options are more limited.
