skippy 33, It might be worth going along to your local circuits on practice days when most people will have time to stop for a chat. Most karters are helpful and friendly, though be prepared to "take the hint" if you come across someone who might be pre-occupied or busy. Have a walk around the paddock and see how you get on. Hope this helps.
