Not sure on these ones but the only ones that protect the ribs in my view have plastic inserts in them or like the Tillet ones a shell on the outside. Alot of the protectors are just padding and that is all but rims of the seat etc can still cause high pressure points on your ribs in the same place all the time and the insert style or shells spread the load across them instead of just one point.
Also seats do not suit us all. A good seat will change the pressure points etc. Tillets are great and mould to most bodies the best.
