Hi Rich, good to read that you enjoyed it. I was going to be there, but cancelled at the last minute because I banked on a consistently wet day and that would not have suited what we wanted to do. Some other unexpected diary conflicts didn’t help. Anyway, shame it was an opportunity missed to meet someone else from here.
It’s funny you should talk about “spinning the world” because that is of course the beauty: whereas conventional piston engines bash up and down (to quote a well-known F1 engineer) and frequently sound “pained”, the rotary engine just spins and hums.
Alan: By “they” I take it you mean the MSA, or rather the karting politicians behind karting-related MSA decisions? Well, I really don’t think we need them. If “they” don’t want more any more members (presumably because they have interest elsewhere), I see no reason to plead for membership.
