I have done this following these instructions. It is simple but time consuming. If you use a Dremel type tool there will be a lot of white powder so don't do it in the lounge!
Somewhere on this site there is a link to a battery supplier (sorry I can't find my invoice)I think it was posted by Alanrr. The battery was about Ł10.
