Ok I am running a TKM4/S for my son using a 08 Talko chassis, my question is which way should the Mikuni pulse pump be mounted, horizontal or vertical?

The Talko mounting braket has it mounted horiontal on the back of the seat but I have read that they should be vertical with the small pin prick hole facing downwards ? Also read that this hole should be drilled.

We do seem to be changing the inards quite regulary due to fuel flowing back into the pump, is this because it isn't mounted correctly ?
