That's right on the margins.

A maxi weight formula Blue driver and kart has to weigh 192KGs driver and kart

My blue kart weighs between 80 /82 kgs

so an 18.5 stone driver (117.5 kgs) and kart weigh in at 197.5 kgs, which is only 5 kgs over.

I know lots of competitive drivers who are only 5kg overweight.

Yes, 5 kg is a lot if you are up against a driver of the same quality and 5kg lighter, but in the average clubbie grid, it's well within the range of clubbie ability in Blue. Agreed, it would be more of a problem in other classes.
