After recent discussions with various broadcasters, BBC included, there are no reasons as to why Karting cant be mainstream. The action on track is better than most championships and the accessibility is better. Young participants also create that wow factor!

The only thing at the moment which is holding S1 back from 'mainstream' is the way it considers itself. Rallycross is on Channel 4 this year and there is ABSOLUTELY no reason why with the right personnel S1 cant do the same.

Rallycross outlayed about 35k last year on 3 live events, so this year have a lucrative sponsorship deal which is costing them nothing to be on C4 and Live on Motors.....great case study of how to do it.

S1 could do the same and as a professional NM, You, Jambo and I know what that step is but reading these comments, most others dont
