Alan, who are you suggesting should have sent these emails? It looks as if the proposal started with John Mills and was taken up by the ABkC who then made a recommendation to the MSA. I would see this as more of an issue for clubs/ABkC rather than the MSA as we are all members of clubs. If JM needs a new class to replace LGM then making it an intermediate class to cater for the cadets who are too big for the current cadets but a bit young/small to move to juniors has some merit and without a national series being approved the class will only succedd if enough clubs feel it worth adding this to their meetings. What concerns me more is the thought that there could be more behind this. Are there plans to change the existing cadet classes and if so, when? Also GrahamS saying that he would like to see a national series for it in 2011 - is this a move to try and have a cadet class included in S1 that could be used to take the cadet championship away from FKS? I think the main thing wrong from the MSA side is the change to the minimum age for some junior classes from 11 to 12. Maybe that dshould only happen from 2012 or when proposals for any changes to cadets become clearer.
