It all depends what the long term aim is for this classand I assume that it has been introduced with support from ABKC?
Without a national championship in 2011 it could struggle to get started although maybe a couple of clubs will get enough entries to make it worthwhile.
If the aim is to make it a `super cadet' then it could have possibilities. It could be made the official British cadet championship in place of the comers. That would allow the removal of the speed restritors/weight penalty from the non comer cadet classes which would then allow a more level playing field for cadet libra racing.
Maybe then the libra cadets could be kept just at club level to allow these drivers to gain plenty of experience before moving into a national championship.
The big downside to this idea would be the demise of the 10K+ comer engines!Sure we would all be sad to see that happen.
