The first incident is very difficult to see clearly - looks as if he may have been hit from the side by a kart trying to get across to the inside.
With the second it looks as if the first contact may have been at an angle with the kart behind moving towards the outside of the track. that could explain why the other kart twisted direction so rapidly - then appears to have gone up the side of the nose cone rather than the front but very difficult to tell.
Ideally we need a post from the lads involved as they should have a clearer idea of what happened.
I would agree that the video alone is probably not enough `evidence' even if it has been sent to the MSA.
Someone was planning to do some detauiled crash testing earler this year so would be interesting to hear if they did and, if so, what the results were.
Great pity that parents/teams will not take it upon themselves to make the change to the nosecone but from grids I have seen, the majority of zip storms are still using these nose cones.
