You won't need to do the ARKS test, but you will still need to do MSA meetings as a novice.

You can get MSA novice signatures at NatSKA meetings - not sure how many in total though (I think it may be a maximum of 3), although its 1 signature per meeting anyway. You just need to hand your licence in to be signed.
