Straight foward and easy. Just undo the retaining bolts and pins and remove one pad and replace with a new pad.Do not apply any pressure with the pedal when the pad is off or you may shoot the pistons out and do not leave the pads off for a long time as some pistons can walk there way out.You may have to squeeze the pistons back in if they are out too far. Also bleed the system as well with new/clean fluid to freshen the system up.
Another trick to get the new pads to bed well is rough the disk with a little sand paper and then bed them in slowly and do not get them too hot or they will glaze up.
