EBay buyer problem.

I have sold my sons kart on eBay over this past week but the winner of the auction has gone real quiet on me and suggests that I re-advertise the kart ? He didn't ask me any questions on the kart at all during the auction,which had me concerned. One other bidder had shown interest but lost the auction at it's close.
This has not made me very happy and has wasted a lot of my time, possibly losing the second chance option too with the ther bidder, while he contemplates his next move.
Has anyone else experienced problems like this on eBay ?
