Like you, I also was one of the few drivers who prefered it counter clockwise, although to be fair, it is a great track to drive in either direction.

However, no matter how great a track is to drive, if the rest of it is like a ploughed field for much of the year that is detrimental to the over all enjoyment of the place.

Don't get me wrong I very much want to see the place succeed as well, but one of the main reasons that people have drifted away and stayed away was because of the state of the place, unless and until that changes people won't come back.
