Alan, I would not want your job, but you seem to be the only person with some information, however I am puzzled, were the Honda Cadets not included in the original event by event broadcasting program ????!!!!! Have there not always been 5 classes in the TKM S1 series.???!!!!
We're new to S1 racing, having entering for the fun and competition of the racing, pre price increase and TV announcements, but feel a bit misled and peeved thinking the Honda Cadets were included the same as everyone else as we were being asked for the same TV money as everyone else, not overlooking the entry fee hikes from last year. ( what recession )
However, its good to be hearing what MIGHT be happening with the Honda Cadet TV coverage, but not very factual or reassuring being based on ASSUMPTIONS!!! Reminds me of a quotation, a joke and an ex prime minister.
As a small detail, I do not know how you can think that 1 x TV at the end of the season is the same exposure as 4 x TV throughout the season, ask any Honda Cadet driver, advertising agent or sponsor ( answer- its not 1 x TV at the end of the season after the fat lady sings) , speaking of sponsor , how do I sell this one to them now ?
Why do the Honda Cadets have to wait to see if another class drops out to be properly included for TV ?
Based on assumtions, It looks likely that the Honda Cadets will get 4 x TV coverage , but it should not be based on the Honda Cadets doing rain dances, hoping that the TKM's don,t turn up, that's wrong.
If we're paying for TV, should it not be the same TV for everyone, anyway here's hoping the TV broadcast for Honda Cadet is 4 x TV at the end of the season, - only another 16 sleeps to go until the registration deadline kids.
