hi there,
i do alot of motorsport photography, and use a Nikon d60 camera, its only small but has a great quality and is really good. its 10 mega pixel, and does continuous shooting for sequence shots.
i use a 18 - 55 lense that i got with the camera for stuff like in the pits, up close, and other photography. but then i got a sigma 70 - 300 lense, which has a great macro feature, on ebay for Ł60, they are about Ł200 new so there are good deals on lenses on ebay.
