The TV coverage for Motors Challenge on MotorsTV was not only watched by those who took part, but also by many fans who enjoy motorsport in general and also those involved.

I remember being recognised by Colin Turkington at a Charity event and that was due to the fact that he watched the series with his team and other drivers. This is surely a good thing!

Also MotorsTV broadcasts across Europe and therefore reaches many more european countries than just here. With the World Rally on Motors next year I think the channel will get a much wider viewership.

FKS is not a good example of Karting on TV, it is true that to get lots of coverage you need to be up the front, crashing or in a good dice but that should not limit it to the big teams. The Challenge again showed how it should be done. Also 30mins is not long enough to cover a full event and i remember many classes not being shown.

If the full season is covered next year in S1, expect 40hours of UNIQUE programming, plus at least 5 times that in repeats on Sky or ESPN. If it does go on Motors then there will be another 200hrs on top of that.

Kartmasters acheived 25hours of programming on Sky, Motors Europe and MotorsUK and was watched by about half a million people.

Finally, dont shun the idea of TV coverage, Some drivers from the Motors Challenge gained good sponsorship through participating on TV.
