I know that the following idea won't make the usual culprits rich, but why doesnt someone organise an end of season championship weekend whereby club champions from each class enter an end of season "Champion of Champions" race.

Something like a one off long weekend, Friday practice, Saturday heats, Sunday pre finals & finals ?

If enough room available, maybe invite runners up from each class too?
eg if every Rotax club champion raced in a "Grand Final" end of season weekend.. wouldnt this driver be the true British Champion ? same for TKM etc

Wouldnt this concept also help clubs throughout the season as drivers would want to do the club races to qualify for the Champion of Champions race?

Im sure the normal UK karting critics will blow the idea away instead of looking for positives & for ways to make it work, but maybe I will start 2010 by being surprised.??

PS kart cameras could be optional :-)
